A.K.A. Murder is Easy Summary: An elderly woman tells a young man on a train about an alarming number of deaths in her village. She's on her way to Scotland Yard to tell them who she believes the murderer to be. She's killed in a hit and run accident before she can talk to anyone at Scotland Yard. When the young man, Luke Fitzwilliam hears of the death as well as that of another person in her village, he decides to go down and investigate. The village of Wychwood under Ashe is the setting of a series of accidental deaths, strange, pagan goings-on in the woods and a Lord whose enemies comprise the list of bodies.
